It requires active communication of the scientific editor and the author in several brief sessions, mostly through live on-line conversation and document sharing. The text is thoroughly reviewed and main points to improve are identified and reported. In most cases, extra input by the author is requested. Occasionally, statistical analyses problems are found, and raw data is requested for additional analysis. The author might be asked to incorporate additional literature. When both parties are satisfied by the modified text, it undergoes in-depth scientific editing including re-writing many parts. This is our most comprehensive editing service and has the highest impact on the chance of getting published in a highly distinguished journal.
